Meet the Founders

Tahani Elghazaly is an award winning Egyptian Canadian journalist with decades of experience across Saudi and Canadian media. A survivor, educator, and advocate for women and newcomers, she launched Tawasul News to give her community the newsroom it deserves, one that tells their stories with nuance, courage, and heart.

Mo Daoud is Co Founder of Tawasul News and Tawasul Podcast. He produces content, leads social media, and steers business strategy. His talented, detail oriented production skills, data driven campaigns, and sponsor relations have helped grow our reach while safeguarding editorial independence.
