Costco Canada issued two separate food recall notices this week. One involves a frozen meal following a warning about possible glass contamination. The other covers a dessert after a notice about potentially undeclared tree-nut allergens.
In a notice dated March 2, 2026, Costco listed Yakitori Chicken Fried Rice under item 819988. Customers are instructed not to consume the product and to return it to Costco for a full refund.
A second notice dated March 3, 2026, covers Delici Dubai Chocolate Mousse under item 1990644. The warning cites possible undeclared cashew and macadamia. Consumers with related allergies are advised not to eat the product and to return it for a full refund.
Consumer steps are straightforward. Verify the item number on your package against the notice. Stop using the product immediately. Keep it out of reach of children. Return it to Costco for a refund. Seek urgent medical care if an allergic reaction is suspected.
