Canada to announce support to strengthen advanced industries in Greater Toronto and Hamilton
Latest news on WhatsApp أجدد الأخبار على واتسابThe Government of Canada will make an announcement on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, in support of advanced industries in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, according to a FedDev Ontario media advisory.
The advisory said Minister Evan Solomon (Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation, and minister responsible for FedDev Ontario) will be joined by Maggie Chi, MP for Don Valley North, and that a media availability will follow the in-person announcement.
FedDev Ontario noted the details are subject to change and did not publish funding amounts or recipients in the advisory.
