Canada Adjusts CPP Benefits for 2026 with 2% Increase Based on CPI

The Canadian government has announced a 2% increase to Canada Pension Plan (CPP) benefits effective January 2026, in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI), as part of the annual benefits adjustment.
Authorities said updated maximum benefit and contribution tables will also take effect at the start of the new year.
