Health Canada has announced the recall of tens of thousands of M&B Salt Remover aerosol cans after internal corrosion was found to pose a potential rupture hazard.
The recall involves the cleaner sold in a 300-gram pressurized aerosol container bearing the product code UPC 777389142200. According to the federal recall notice, corrosion inside the can could weaken the container and cause it to rupture, creating a risk of injury to anyone nearby.
As of July 14, 2026, the company had received three reports of incidents involving the recalled product in Canada. No injuries had been reported.
Approximately 54,716 units were sold across Canada between 2019 and 2026. The product was manufactured in Canada and distributed by Moneysworth & Best Inc.
Consumers are advised to stop using the affected cleaner immediately. The recalled cans should be disposed of in accordance with local municipal requirements for household hazardous waste and should not be placed in regular garbage, resold or given to another person.
Consumers seeking additional information may contact Moneysworth & Best by telephone at 905-790-0650, Monday through Friday during regular business hours, or by email at [email protected].
