Toronto police are searching for three women wanted in connection with an alleged drugging and robbery case that investigators say began in the early hours of Sunday, March 29, 2026, in the Yonge Street and Gerrard Street West area.
Police said the victim contacted one of the suspects through an online classified advertisement at about 3:30 a.m. and met her at a hotel in the area. Investigators allege the woman went to the victim’s hotel room and is believed to have mixed an unknown substance into the victim’s drink, causing him to become unwell.
According to police, the suspect then escorted the victim into a black Dodge Durango occupied by two other women. Investigators allege the women took the victim’s phone, made multiple e-transfers to themselves, and later took him to an ATM to withdraw more money after the transfer limit was reached.
Police said the victim was later driven to a hotel near University Avenue and Adelaide Street West before the suspects fled. Investigators released images of one of the suspects, while CityNews reported that no further suspect descriptions had been released.
Investigators say there may be more victims and are asking anyone with information to contact 52 Division at 416-808-5200 or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
