Alberta’s Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) ran six targeted invitation rounds from February 6 to February 19, 2026, issuing at least 441 invitations across pathways tied to labour market priorities, including rural selection, tech, law enforcement, and priority sectors such as construction, manufacturing, and agriculture.

According to Alberta’s official draw table, the rounds were:

  1. Feb 19, 2026: Alberta Express Entry, Priority Sectors (Construction), minimum score 61, 50 invitations
  2. Feb 17, 2026: Alberta Express Entry, Priority Sectors (Agriculture), minimum score 49, fewer than 10 invitations
  3. Feb 12, 2026: Alberta Express Entry, Priority Sectors (Manufacturing), minimum score 50, 32 invitations
  4. Feb 11, 2026: Alberta Express Entry, Accelerated Tech Pathway, minimum score 59, 147 invitations
  5. Feb 10, 2026: Rural Renewal Stream, minimum score 54, 212 invitations
  6. Feb 6, 2026: Alberta Express Entry, Law Enforcement Pathway, minimum score 50, fewer than 10 invitations

Because two rounds are reported as “fewer than 10,” the published total is a floor (at least 441), and the real total could be slightly higher.

In its latest program update (last updated Feb 19, 2026), Alberta also noted AAIP draws are not on a fixed schedule and that EOI scores are not the only selection factor. The province’s 2026 nomination allocation is listed as 6,403, with 612 nominations issued as of that update.

Practical next step

If you are targeting these pathways, double check the specific stream requirements (especially Rural Renewal, which is tied to designated communities) and keep your Express Entry profile and AAIP EOI information current and consistent with your occupation and sector.
