Apple could broaden its iPhone Duo family over the coming years with larger foldable phones and more affordable alternatives, giving buyers a wider choice of screen sizes and prices. The potential expansion follows this month’s unveiling of Apple’s first foldable iPhone, according to expectations outlined by Bloomberg.
Possible additions include a larger-screen “Duo Max,” a “Duo SE” with pared-back specifications, and a compact “Duo Mini” with a clamshell design. The projections did not include specific launch dates or prices for the additional models.
Apple unveiled the iPhone Duo on September 9, 2026. Its first foldable phone has a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.4-inch outer screen.
The device runs on the A20 Pro chip and supports two apps side by side on its inner display.
Canadian pricing starts at C$2,999 for 256GB of storage. Pre-orders open October 16, with sales beginning October 23 as part of an initial rollout across more than 70 countries and regions.
