.Canadian carrier Air Transat has been named the World’s Best Leisure Airline for 2026 at the Skytrax World Airline Awards, securing the global title for the eighth time in its history during an awards ceremony held in London on Friday, September 18.
Air Transat ranked first in Skytrax’s World’s Best Leisure Airline category, ahead of SunExpress in second place and TUI Airways in third. The Canadian carrier was also named the Best Leisure Airline in North America for 2026.
The award measures passenger satisfaction with the products and services offered by leisure airlines, both onboard aircraft and at airports.
