Kuwait Investment Authority Seeks New Partnerships in Canada

Kuwait Investment Authority Managing Director Sheikh Saoud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah held investment talks with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney during the Canada Investment Summit in Toronto, focusing on joint opportunities and broader economic and investment cooperation between Kuwait and Canada.
KIA said the discussions with Carney examined potential joint investments and ways to deepen strategic economic ties, building on the authority's existing investment presence in Canadian markets.
Sheikh Saoud also met Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand and Ontario Premier Doug Ford, along with senior executives from major Canadian pension funds and financial institutions.
Those meetings focused on investment opportunities in Canada, areas of mutual interest and potential partnerships between KIA and Canadian investment institutions, as well as Canada's economic and investment outlook.
