IRCC notes that IEC invitation numbers are typically updated on Fridays, and invitations to apply (ITAs) are issued regularly until quotas are reached or the season closes.
Tracking reports by Canadian immigration information outlets say that, as of February 6, 2026, Canada had already issued more than 24,000 Working Holiday ITAs, based on monitoring of IRCC’s weekly country-by-country data.
Applicants are advised to follow IRCC’s official “Rounds of invitations” page for their country and category, as quotas, invitation timing, and likelihood ratings vary by citizenship and stream (Working Holiday, Young Professionals, International Co-op).
