Federal recall postings dated Friday, February 27, 2026 flagged three separate safety files spanning everyday home use, child transport gear, and clinical supplies. The common thread is simple: match the identifying details on the product, then follow the specific stop-use, repair, return, or discard direction tied to that notice.

For households, the update includes a recall of Lit by Lada Candle Co. soy wax candles after warnings that flames may burn unusually high, raising the risk of fire, property damage, and injury. The notice covers multiple jar sizes (4 oz, 8 oz, and 16 oz) across various scents, with roughly 500 units sold in Canada between May 2024 and December 2025 and no Canadian injury reports noted as of February 23, 2026. Consumers are told to stop using the candles and pursue a return and refund, and the notice stresses that recalled products should not be resold or redistributed in Canada.

For families, the posting recalls the Joovy Tricycoo Tricycle-Stroller over strangulation and entrapment/pinch risks tied to a rear storage bag and areas near the seat. Affected units list manufacture date 063021AF and include models 1100, 1106, and 1109, with 109 units reported sold in Canada. The immediate step is to stop use, remove the rear storage bag, and contact the company channel to obtain a repair kit.

In healthcare settings, a health product recall warns that an 8Fr suction catheter may have been packed inside kits intended for 14Fr. The concern is performance and patient safety: an undersized catheter can make aspiration difficult or impossible and may lead to hypoxia and/or respiratory failure. The notice advises customers to discard the affected product.
