Canadian health authorities have announced the recall of several Pillsbury “Pizza Pops” frozen food products following confirmed cases of E. coli infections reported across multiple provinces.

According to health reports, a number of people fell ill after consuming the affected products, with some cases requiring hospitalization. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency, in coordination with provincial health authorities, has launched an investigation to determine the source and scope of the contamination.

Officials said the recalled products were widely distributed through retail outlets nationwide, urging consumers not to consume them and to either dispose of the items safely or return them to the point of purchase. Consumers experiencing symptoms such as severe diarrhea, abdominal pain, or fever have been advised to seek medical attention.

The recall forms part of Canada’s ongoing food safety measures aimed at reducing the risk of foodborne illnesses, as authorities continue to monitor and update national recall alerts to protect public health
