Motorola has returned to the US tablet market after more than a decade away, unveiling the new Moto Pad alongside the moto g stylus 2026 in a move that signals a broader push into mid-range devices built for study, entertainment, and everyday productivity. Tech reports noted that the launch marks Motorola’s first tablet sold through a US carrier since around 2011, giving the announcement added weight beyond a routine product refresh.

The Moto Pad is priced at $249.99 in the United States and features an 11-inch 2.5K display with a 90Hz refresh rate, along with a 7,040mAh battery that Motorola says is designed for long streaming and daily use. The tablet also includes quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, 5G connectivity, an all-metal Bronze Green finish, moto pen support, and cross-device features meant to make it easier to move between a phone, tablet, and PC.

Motorola also introduced the moto g stylus 2026, starting at $499.99 in the US, with an upgraded built-in stylus that responds to tilt and pressure in supported apps. The phone includes a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 5,200mAh battery with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The phone is set to go on sale in the United States on April 16, while Motorola says it will also be available in Canada through its website on the same date. By contrast, the currently announced Moto Pad rollout is limited to the US through T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile starting April 30.

The launch shows Motorola trying to compete in a segment where buyers want practical features without flagship pricing. By pairing a new tablet with a stylus-focused phone, the company is also signaling a bigger strategy: building a more connected device ecosystem instead of relying only on smartphones. That makes this a useful technology story for readers following affordable devices and brand comebacks in a crowded market.
