Fadel Chaker will play two consecutive sold-out shows in Riyadh later this month after overwhelming demand turned what was initially announced as a single comeback concert into a two-night event.
The Lebanese singer is scheduled to perform at Abu Bakr Salem Theatre on October 22 and 23 as part of Riyadh Season 2026. The first show sold out within minutes, prompting General Entertainment Authority chairman Turki Alalshikh to add a second date. Tickets for that performance also sold out shortly after going on sale.
The concerts, billed under the title Awdat Al Ghayeb — “The Return of the Absent” — mark Chaker’s return to large-scale live performances after years away from the concert stage.
Audience interest in the Riyadh dates follows a renewed period of visibility for the singer, who has continued releasing music despite his long absence from major live venues.
Recent releases include Sahhak El Shawq and Keefak A Fraqi, collaborations with his son Mohamed Chaker, as well as Al Ashkhas El Ghalat and Saaban Aleik Hali.
Chaker also won Favourite Artist and Favourite Song for Sahhak El Shawq at the 2026 Joy Awards.
The rapid sellout of both Riyadh dates offers a clearer measure of the demand surrounding his return: a concert initially planned for one night will now bring him before audiences on two consecutive evenings.
