The Saudi–Canadian Business and Investment Forum witnessed the signing of six memoranda of understanding earlier this week, covering the sectors of telecommunications and information technology, cybersecurity, education, and manufacturing.
The forum was held under the “Invest in Saudi Arabia” initiative, attended by Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and Canadian Minister of International Trade Maninder Sidhu, with the participation of major companies and representatives from both the public and private sectors in the two countries.
Discussions focused on strengthening investment partnerships in digital transformation, infrastructure, defense, and other sectors of mutual interest, as well as exploring opportunities to expand Saudi and Canadian investments in both countries, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
