Tawasul News is pleased to welcome Dr. Dina Asaad Ghattas as one of its contributing writers, offering readers a thoughtful and specialized human space that approaches issues of the mind, relationships, mental health, parenting and self-understanding with a calm, responsible voice that places the human being at the center of attention.
Dr. Dina brings a medical and professional background that combines medicine, mental health and community work. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine at Alexandria University, as well as a diploma in public health with a specialization in mental health from the High Institute of Public Health at Alexandria University.
Her professional experience spans several fields, including online psychotherapy under specialized medical supervision, school medicine, psychiatry, family medicine and emergency medicine. This gives her writing an important blend of medical knowledge and direct engagement with people and their everyday challenges.
Dr. Dina’s experience is not limited to medical practice. For years, she has participated in youth and volunteer initiatives in Egypt and abroad, including work with youth organizations, scouting groups and community projects focused on children, teenagers, mental health awareness, protection from harm and support for vulnerable groups. She also has broad experience working with young people in psychological, educational and cultural settings.
Through her articles in Tawasul News, Dr. Dina will write about people in moments of weakness and strength, about anxiety, pressure, relationships, parenting, trauma and the ability to heal. Her goal is to offer content that is simple yet meaningful, helping readers understand their emotions, read their relationships with greater awareness and approach themselves with compassion rather than harshness.
Tawasul News believes that mental health is no longer a luxury, but an essential part of quality of life, especially within immigrant communities that carry many pressures and challenges related to integration, work, family, raising children and longing for home.
This is why this new space matters. It opens the door to a calm and safe conversation about what we feel, what we need to understand and what we can do to live with greater balance.
Welcome, Dr. Dina Asaad Ghattas, to the Tawasul News family. With her, we begin a new space that writes about the mind in the language of science, and about the human being in the language of compassion.
