Toyota has introduced the bZ4X Touring as a new, more spacious variant in its bZ4X battery-electric SUV lineup, targeting family use and adventure-oriented driving while ramping up competition in the global electric SUV segment.
Toyota says the AWD version is targeting up to 280 kW (380 DIN hp), which it describes as the most powerful Toyota BEV currently offered, while the FWD version targets 165 kW (224 DIN hp).
The Touring model uses a 74.7 kWh (gross) lithium-ion battery, with a targeted WLTP range of up to 560 km, DC fast-charging of around 150 kW, and an 11 kW or 22 kW onboard charger depending on grade.
Toyota says the bZ4X Touring is 140 mm longer and 20 mm higher than the regular bZ4X (4,830 mm long, 1,670 mm high), increasing cargo volume to 600 litres (+148 litres, about one-third more).
The model is scheduled to launch in Europe in spring 2026. Toyota also notes that “bZ Woodland” is the North American name for the bZ4X Touring
