The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled two Allo Simonne products because of possible pieces of glass. The affected products are 220 g jars of Pistachio Matcha Spread and Almond Cardamom Spread.
The affected Pistachio Matcha Spread carries UPC 6 28437 31056 1 and code 12-104-26 MA/BB 10/27. The Almond Cardamom Spread carries UPC 6 28437 31007 3 and code 7-104-26 MA/BB 10/27.
The products were distributed online and in Quebec and British Columbia. The CFIA says the affected items should not be used, sold, served or distributed.
The recall is classified as Class 2 and is dated August 25, with the federal notification published on August 27, 2026. Allo Simonne Inc. is the recalling company.
The notice applies to the specifically identified products and codes rather than the company's entire product range, allowing consumers to check the information printed on their jars against the recall notice.
