Apple announced Apple Creator Studio, a new subscription suite that bundles its creative apps for video, music and imaging, while adding premium content and intelligent features to Keynote, Pages and Numbers. The subscription will be available on the App Store starting January 28, 2026.

In Canada, Apple said Creator Studio will cost CAD 17.99 per month or CAD 179 per year, with a one-month free trial. Post-secondary students and educators can subscribe for CAD 3.99 per month or CAD 39 per year.

The bundle includes Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro and Pixelmator Pro on Mac and iPad, plus Motion, Compressor and MainStage on Mac. It also unlocks intelligent features and premium content for Keynote, Pages and Numbers, with Freeform to be added later.

Apple said Final Cut Pro is adding smarter tools including Beat Detection, which surfaces beats and bars in the timeline, and Montage Maker on iPad, which uses AI to assemble a dynamic edit from the best moments and helps reframe footage for social sharing.

Logic Pro is getting new intelligent tools such as Synth Player and Chord ID, alongside a richer sound library and additional iPad features including Quick Swipe Comping and natural-language search in the Sound Browser.

Pixelmator Pro is coming to iPad for the first time with a touch-optimized workspace and full Apple Pencil support, cross-device workflows between iPad and Mac, and features such as Super Resolution, Deband, Auto Crop, plus a new Warp tool for subscribers.

Apple notes that Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Freeform remain free for everyone, but subscribers get premium templates, a curated Content Hub library, and intelligence features that build on Apple Intelligence.

If a subscription ends, projects remain stored on devices, but opening or editing projects in Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro and Pixelmator Pro requires an active subscription. Standard plans can be shared with up to five family members via Family Sharing.
