Health Canada has recalled U Kids We Love Cozy Pajamas Sets sold by Urban Kids and Urban Planet because they do not meet flammability requirements for children’s sleepwear. Families are being urged to stop using the recalled pajamas immediately and return them to an Urban Kids or Urban Planet store for a refund.
The recall covers pajama sets with short sleeve tops and fluffy wide leg lounge pants, style number 3528-4828-2601. The affected products were sold in several colours, including black, green, ivory, blue, purple, lilac, pink and light pink.
According to Health Canada, loose fitting children’s sleepwear can come into contact with ignition sources such as stove elements, candles and matches. If ignited, the garment may burn quickly and increase the risk of serious burns.
The company reported that 20,287 units of the affected pajamas were sold in Canada between October 2025 and May 2026. As of May 14, 2026, no incidents or injuries had been reported in Canada.
Health Canada is advising consumers not to use the recalled pajamas, not to resell or give them away, and to return them to the relevant stores for a refund.
