CBSA seizes 266 kg of methamphetamine at Blue Water Bridge, case referred to RCMP

Canada Border Services Agency says officers intercepted 266.4 kg of suspected methamphetamine at the Blue Water Bridge port of entry after a commercial truck was sent to secondary inspection.
The agency said the suspected drugs were found in 16 suitcases and the matter was referred to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to continue the investigation and enforcement process.
CBSA said a 29-year-old driver from Woodstock, Ontario was arrested and faces charges related to importation and possession for the purpose of trafficking. The case remains before the courts.
