Larijani visit to Oman signals diplomatic push ahead of potential Iran US talks

Iran sent senior adviser Ali Larijani to Oman ahead of potential talks with Washington, after indirect U.S.-Iran discussions last week mediated in Muscat.
Oman’s state news agency said Larijani met Sultan Haitham bin Tariq and discussed ways toward a “balanced and just” agreement and a return to dialogue.
The next round has not been scheduled, with sticking points expected to include whether negotiations expand beyond the nuclear file, uranium enrichment limits, and sanctions relief.
Reports also said Larijani is expected to travel next to Qatar as part of regional consultations
