Parks Canada has opened applications for its 2026 Summer Jobs Inventory, recruiting students and temporary staff to support summer operations, including opportunities across Ontario locations.

According to the agency’s hiring portal, pay and hours vary by role. Student positions are paid by level of study, ranging from $17.75 to $28/hour, while some entry-level seasonal roles may offer up to $30/hour, with exact rates confirmed during the offer stage.

The application deadline is March 1, 2026, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, meaning positions may be filled before the deadline. Applicants can select up to 10 preferred locations and 10 preferred job types, and Parks Canada notes that lodging is not guaranteed at most sites.
