Air Canada has reached a tentative four-year collective agreement with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, representing about 11,000 employees across technical operations, airports, cargo, logistics and supply departments.
The proposed agreement would take effect retroactively from April 1, 2026, and remain in place until March 31, 2030, provided it is approved by union members.
The deal remains subject to ratification, with voting expected to be completed in the coming days. Air Canada has not publicly released the full financial terms, including detailed wage and benefit provisions.
The agreement covers employees working in aircraft maintenance, airport operations, cargo handling, logistics and supply services, all of which are central to the airline’s daily operations.
If ratified, it would become the sixth collective agreement concluded by Air Canada in 2026.
