Egyptian music star Amr Diab has added another global achievement to his career after Guinness World Records officially recognized his 69 cumulative weeks at No. 1 on Billboard Arabia’s Artist 100 chart, earning him the second Guinness title of his career.
The official record is for the “Most weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Arabic Artist 100 chart (male)”, according to the announcement published on Diab’s official website. The 69 weeks represent his cumulative time at the top of the chart.
Diab officially received the Guinness World Records plaque, with Billboard Arabia saying the recognition was based on the performance documented through its charts. The milestone adds another international distinction to a career spanning more than four decades.
The Egyptian singer dedicated the recognition to his audience, saying his listeners and their response to his music remain central to his motivation to continue developing and releasing new work.
The recognition marks Diab’s second Guinness World Records title. His official awards record lists his first Guinness achievement in 2016 and the latest Billboard Arabia record in 2026.
