Several Arab countries have strongly condemned Israel’s recognition of Somaliland as an independent entity, warning that the move violates international law and threatens regional stability.
In official statements, Arab governments including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, and Kuwait reaffirmed their support for Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, stressing that unilateral recognition does not alter Somaliland’s legal status.
Arab officials cautioned that such actions could further complicate regional dynamics and fuel political tensions, urging the international community to adhere to established legal frameworks and United Nations resolutions.
The condemnation reflects a broader Arab consensus rejecting unilateral measures that undermine international legitimacy and regional stability.
