Dubai’s media office said a facility at Dubai International Airport sustained minor damage and four people were injured, as regional escalation spills into Gulf civilian infrastructure.

Authorities said a drone was intercepted near the city, and falling debris sparked a small exterior fire at the Burj Al Arab, which was quickly contained.

In Jebel Ali, Dubai authorities reported that debris linked to an aerial interception ignited a fire at one of the port’s berths, with no injuries reported as civil defence crews continued containment efforts.

Reuters also reported wider disruption to regional aviation, including flight suspensions and thinning air corridors, alongside scattered damage in other Gulf locations.
