The World Food Programme said humanitarian supplies are expected to start entering Gaza again through the Kerem Shalom crossing on Tuesday or Wednesday, after border points were temporarily closed amid wider regional escalation.
WFP warned that stocks inside Gaza are tightening. It said available wheat flour would last around 10 days, while food parcels are sufficient to keep current programmes running for about two and a half weeks, adding that further delays could force reductions in assistance rations.
