In Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, Canada captured the women’s curling bronze medal at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, defeating the United States 10-7 in the bronze-medal game.
Skipped by Rachel Homan alongside teammates Emma Miskew, Sarah Wilkes, and Tracy Fleury, the win delivered Canada’s first Olympic women’s curling medal since the gold at Sochi 2014 and marked Homan’s first Olympic medal after previous Games ended short of the podium.
Reports noted a tight early contest before Canada pulled ahead in the second half by capitalizing on key U.S. misses, while the Americans again fell just short of a first-ever Olympic medal in the women’s event.
