The Al Dokkan Weekly Book Fair in Montreal will host an educational discussion on Friday, October 2, with political and community activist Jalnar Moussa, focusing on Quebec’s election, how the electoral process works, and the importance of civic participation among members of the Arab community.
The discussion comes just days before Quebec’s provincial election on Monday, October 5, 2026.
Moussa will also take questions from attendees about voting and civic engagement. Organizers say the session is intended to provide information and encourage open discussion, without supporting any political party or candidate.
The event will take place during the Al Dokkan Weekly Book Fair from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 6767 Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Hall 601-2, Montreal.
