Saudi authorities announced deadlines related to the Hajj season 1446 AH (Hajj 2025), setting Shawwal 15, 1446 (April 13, 2025) as the last date for Umrah performers to enter the Kingdom, and Dhu al-Qi’dah 1, 1446 (April 29, 2025) as the final deadline to depart. Staying beyond that date would be considered a violation subject to legal penalties.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah urged individuals and licensed Umrah companies to comply with departure schedules, warning that companies that fail to report delayed departures could face fines of up to SAR 100,000, alongside other legal measures.
The Interior Ministry also outlined additional organisational measures for the same season, including entry controls for Makkah and the suspension of certain permits during a specified period, as part of broader preparations for Hajj
