With 100 days until the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off across the United States, Canada and Mexico, demand for tickets is intensifying, even as fans weigh the cost and complexity of travelling between widely spread host cities.
Figures tied to the sales process show nearly two million tickets have already been sold in early phases, with demand far outstripping supply. FIFA has also projected stadium attendance topping seven million over the course of the tournament.
The next major purchasing window is expected in early April through official channels, as organisers and fans alike keep an eye on elevated resale pricing, added fees on secondary markets, and the possibility that global instability could complicate travel planning and match-day logistics.
