Angham Debuts “Di Rouhi” Live in Jeddah

Egyptian singer Angham introduced her new album “Di Rouhi” to a live audience for the first time during a sold-out concert on Friday, August 14, at Abadi Al Johar Arena in Jeddah, as part of Jeddah Season and under the patronage of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority.
Angham performed several songs from “Di Rouhi” on stage for the first time, accompanied by an orchestra led by maestro Hani Farhat, while also presenting a selection of well-known songs from her career. The show featured visual and stage production designed around the new material.
“Di Rouhi” consists of four tracks: “Di Rouhi,” “Boadak Wagaa,” “Mohaserni” and “Mesafra Baeed,” created in collaboration with a group of prominent Arab lyricists, composers and music arrangers, including Tamer Hussein, Aziz El Shafie, Ehab Abdel Wahed, Tarek Madkour and Sherif Makawy.
The concert lasted more than two hours, with Angham moving between songs from the new project and familiar favorites as the audience joined her in singing at several points. She also recognized members of the creative team behind the album during the evening.
