Doha Debates Opens 2026 Ambassador Program to Young Leaders Worldwide

Doha Debates has opened applications for its 2026 Ambassador Program, inviting young people from around the world, including Canada, to join a virtual international program focused on dialogue, critical thinking, intercultural communication and collaboration. Applications close on August 24, 2026.

The program is open to applicants aged 18 to 26 and brings together emerging young leaders from different backgrounds to strengthen their communication, systems-thinking and dialogue skills while engaging with complex global issues.

Participants are expected to commit approximately four to five hours per week, including weekly Zoom sessions and online learning activities. The program begins September 22, with regular sessions continuing through December 1, followed by the virtual World Majlis on December 8.

The opportunity comes as Doha Debates expands its engagement in Canada. The organization held a Town Hall in Toronto on July 8, 2026, focused on football fandom, community and the commercialization of the sport.
