Egyptian Consulate in Montreal to Hold Consular Mission in Mississauga on May 16 and 17

The Consulate General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Montreal has announced that it will conduct a consular mission in Mississauga, Ontario, on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, 2026, to provide selected consular services to Egyptian citizens.

The mission will take place at Mississauga Career College, located at:

6341 Mississauga Rd, Mississauga, ON L5N 1A5

According to the announcement, consular applications will be received on both days during two service periods: a morning session from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and an evening session from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The services available during the mission include authentication of signatures on powers of attorney. Applicants seeking this service must present a valid machine-readable Egyptian passport or a valid Egyptian national ID card.

The mission will also provide authentication of official documents issued by Canadian authorities, commercial authentications with original documents required, and authentication of educational certificates and proof of enrollment. Educational certificates and proof of enrollment must first be authenticated by the Egyptian Cultural Office in Montreal.

The consular mission aims to make services more accessible to members of the Egyptian community in Ontario, particularly residents of Mississauga and nearby areas.
