Meta to pause teens’ access to AI characters worldwide as it builds an updated version
Latest news on WhatsApp أجدد الأخبار على واتسابMeta said on Friday it will temporarily suspend teens’ access to its existing AI characters across its apps globally in the coming weeks, as it works on an updated teen-focused experience.
In an update to its teen safety blog post, Meta said the pause will apply to accounts with a teen birthday on file and to users who claim to be adults but are suspected to be teens based on its age prediction technology.
Meta added that teens will still be able to use its Meta AI assistant for helpful and educational information, with default age-appropriate protections in place, until the updated experience is ready
