The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s General Secretariat condemned strikes that hit the sovereignty and territories of member states, warning the trajectory could deepen tensions, undermine regional stability, and heighten risks to peace and security.

In a statement dated Saturday, Feb. 28, the OIC said it stands with the affected countries, naming Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan, as they confront actions that threaten their security and stability.

The General Secretariat called for an immediate halt to escalatory steps, urged restraint, and pressed for a return to dialogue to prevent the confrontation from widening.
