War spreads regionally after Tehran and Beirut strikes
Latest news on WhatsApp أجدد الأخبار على واتسابInternational reporting says the U.S.-Israeli conflict with Iran has widened regionally in recent days, with continued strikes reported in Tehran and a parallel escalation in Lebanon after broad evacuation orders and heavy bombardment hit parts of Beirut’s southern suburbs.
The U.N. refugee agency has described the situation as a “major humanitarian emergency,” pointing to large-scale displacement in Lebanon and reported displacement inside Iran in the early phase of the conflict.
Reuters also reported that Iran’s retaliation has included repeated missile and drone attacks toward Israel, as well as strikes reaching Gulf states that host U.S. forces, with multiple countries reporting interceptions and damage.
