In a warm family atmosphere filled with joy and celebration, the Public Services for the Integration of Immigrants Association, SPDI, organized a special Eid Al-Adha event in Montreal, bringing together families, children, and members of different communities across the city.

The celebration drew strong attendance and offered a wide range of activities for all family members. Children enjoyed entertainment games, face painting, cartoon characters, and photo opportunities in a festive setting that reflected the spirit of Eid.

The event also included a diverse bazaar featuring exhibitors who presented handmade products, gifts, and a variety of food and beverages. Egyptian popular dishes, desserts, and drinks added a distinctive cultural and social flavor to the celebration.

The initiative comes as part of efforts to strengthen social ties among immigrant families, create welcoming spaces for cultural exchange, and bring happiness to children and families during holidays and community occasions.

Attendees expressed their appreciation for the organization and the variety of activities, noting that the event brought together entertainment, culture, and the warm spirit of Eid. They also praised SPDI’s role in organizing community events that support integration and promote coexistence, love, and connection within Canadian society.

At the end of the celebration, SPDI extended its thanks to all participants, volunteers, and sponsors who contributed to the success of the event and helped present it in a way that reflected the joy and meaning of Eid.
