Egyptian Consulate in Montreal Invites Community Questions Ahead of Emergency Fund Briefing

The Consulate General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Montreal is inviting members of the Egyptian community to submit their questions about the Emergency Fund for Egyptians Abroad by the end of the working day on September 5, 2026, ahead of a live briefing explaining how the fund’s insurance document operates.
The briefing is being organized as part of efforts by Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad to explain the mechanisms of the Emergency Fund, which was announced during the seventh edition of the Egyptians Abroad Conference in August 2026.
The live session is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Cairo time and will feature Mohamed Zahran, CEO of the Egyptian Travel Insurance Pool, who will respond to questions and inquiries from Egyptians living abroad about the fund’s insurance document.
The session will be broadcast live through the Facebook page of the Migration Sector at Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
