FIFA has released a new batch of tickets for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final, with the highest-priced seats reaching US$10,990—a dramatic increase from the US$1,600 top-priced tickets offered for the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar.

The newly released tickets are available through FIFA's final sales phase on a first-come, first-served basis ahead of the championship match, scheduled for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The sharp increase reflects FIFA's revenue strategy for the first-ever 48-team World Cup, which is being hosted jointly by Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The expanded tournament is expected to attract record attendance and unprecedented global demand.

FIFA has also confirmed that lower-cost Supporter Entry tickets will remain available for fans of qualified teams, with prices starting at approximately US$60, although availability is limited and distributed through national football associations.

While the dramatic price increase has sparked debate among football fans, sports business analysts say the higher costs reflect growing global demand for premium sporting events and FIFA's wider use of dynamic ticket pricing.
