Google Pixel 11 Brings Faster Performance, New Colors and a Higher Price

Google has officially unveiled the Pixel 11, keeping much of the familiar design language of the previous generation while introducing faster performance, upgraded cameras, longer battery life and a fresh selection of colors.

The new Pixel 11 is available in four finishes: Frost, Hibiscus, Pistachio and Obsidian, offering light purple, pink, green and black options. Google has also refined the rear camera bar, giving the phone a cleaner and slimmer appearance.

At the heart of the device is Google’s new Tensor G6 processor, designed to deliver faster app launches and improved web browsing while expanding the phone’s on-device artificial intelligence capabilities.

The Pixel 11 features a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and peak brightness reaching 3,000 nits. It comes with 12GB of RAM and storage starting at 256GB.

Google has also upgraded the camera system, adding a 48-megapixel main camera, 5x optical zoom and Super Zoom capabilities reaching up to 30x, alongside new AI-powered photography tools.

Battery life has also been improved, with Google saying the Pixel 11 can last for more than 30 hours under typical use. The device supports Pixelsnap magnetic wireless charging based on the Qi2.2 standard.

In Canada, the Pixel 11 starts at C$1,249, positioning it firmly within the premium smartphone segment.

Rather than radically changing the Pixel design, Google appears to be focusing on what happens inside the phone: more processing power, stronger AI features, better cameras and longer battery life, although buyers will also have to accept a higher starting price.
