Egyptian singer Mohamed Hamaki has sparked major buzz after media reports said he is preparing a romantic duet with Sherine Abdel Wahab for his upcoming album, marking the first direct musical collaboration between the two stars. Interest around the project grew quickly after reports linked the surprise track to the singer behind “Betmanna Ansak,” turning the duet into one of the most talked about music stories in Egypt in recent days.
So far, the project is still being framed as the big surprise of the album, with no official release date or track title announced yet. ET Bil Arabi reported on April 1, 2026 that the song had been in the works for quite some time and was expected to arrive in a form different from the circulating rumors, adding more suspense around the collaboration and its musical direction.
The story is gaining even more traction because it comes as Sherine remains highly visible following the strong audience response tied to songs from her “Betmanna Ansak” album, while Hamaki continues to build anticipation for his new record. At this stage, there is still no official date for the release, but confirmation of the duet alone has already made it one of the standout entertainment headlines of the week.
