Ottawa Hosts Free Settlement Information Session for Newcomers

Carlington Community Health Centre (CCHC) will host a free information session for newcomers and their families in Ottawa on Thursday, August 27, 2026, offering guidance on community services and resources available during the settlement process.
The session will run from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Carlington Community Health Centre, 1290 Coldrey Ave., Algonquin Room 173.
Participants will learn about community resources and referrals, parenting and family support, help navigating local services, connections to community programs, and other services available to newcomers.
CCHC staff will also be available to answer questions and explain how the centre can support newcomers and their families as they establish themselves in the community.
All CCHC services offered through the initiative are free, and everyone is welcome to attend.
