Montreal has earned a fresh place on the global food map after Atwater Market was named among the world’s top 20 food markets in a recent international ranking.

The landmark market placed 13th on the list, giving the city a strong showing against well-known food destinations in Europe and beyond. The ranking also placed Atwater Market ahead of several famous markets, including major stops in Munich, Amsterdam, and Toronto.
