Egypt’s Ramadan 2026 drama season is shaping up as a broad and competitive slate, spanning social and suspense dramas, action-led titles, popular “street” drama, and wider room for comedy and human-interest storytelling, with recurring themes focused on family and community dynamics.
A published lineup dated January 7, 2026, points to nearly 40 titles in total, while the market continues to split between traditional 30-episode Ramadan runs and the increasingly popular 15-episode format, favored for faster pacing and tighter plotting.
Among the longer-format highlights are major star vehicles including “We Nensa Elli Kan” (Yasmine Abdel Aziz, Karim Fahmy), “Al Maddah 6” (Hamada Helal), “Al King” (Mohamed Emam), “Ali Clay” (Ahmed El Awady), and “Fan Al Harb” (Youssef El Sherif), alongside Mustafa Shaaban’s “Darsh,” Amir Karara’s “Ras Al Afaa,” and Nelly Karim and Sherif Salama in “Ala Qad Al Hob.
The 15-episode track features a long list of social, thriller, and comedy projects across multiple broadcasters and platforms, including “Manaa” (Hend Sabry), “Al Set Mona Lisa” (Mai Omar), “Sawa Sawa” (Ahmed Malek, Hoda El Mufti), “Taht Al Hesaar” (Mona Shalaby, Eyad Nassar), and “Etnen Gherna” (Asser Yassin, Dina El Sherbiny), setting up an intense ratings race in the weeks ahead.
