Entertainment coverage and recently released promos indicate Ramadan 2026 drama is leaning strongly toward light, social comedy, with more titles discussed as shorter-run seasons alongside returning franchises and sketch-based formats across Egypt, Syria and the Gulf.

Egypt: Social comedy and everyday stories

In Egypt, “Kolhom Beyehbo Mody” is widely reported as a key Ramadan 2026 comedy title, with outlets publishing fresh production updates and cast details.

Ahmed Amin is also set to return with “Al Nass 2”, with press reports detailing ongoing filming and behind-the-scenes updates.

Other Egyptian comedy-leaning titles in current roundups include “Al Matr Samir” (reported as a 15-episode social-comedy), “Baba w Mama Giran” (a family comedy built on post-separation neighbor friction), and “Heya Kemya”, which recently released a promo positioning it as a social comedy with dramatic beats.

Separately, an Egyptian report described “Bibo” as Ahmed Bahr “Kozbara’s” first Ramadan lead role for 2026.

Syria: Sketch-based comedy and sequels

In Syria, “Ma Ikhtalafna 3” is set to return in an expanded format, according to Enab Baladi, continuing its sketch-based, socially satirical approach.
“Ya Ana Ya Hiya 2” is also listed for Ramadan 2026 on Roya TV and related entertainment listings.

Gulf: Popular franchises return

In Saudi Arabia’s slate, Shahid lists “Jack Al Elm” Season 3 under “Ramadan 2026”.
In Qatar, reports said “Mardi wa Dahham 3” is slated for Ramadan 2026 after production wrapped, keeping the neighborhood-based situational comedy.

Final broadcast schedules and platform rollouts are still expected to evolve as Ramadan approaches, but current indicators point to a distinctly “lighter” season anchored in social comedy and returning parts.
