Tawasul News launched a new editorial initiative on Sunday, August 9, 2026, titled “Immigrant Women Outside the Box,” dedicated to highlighting Arab women abroad who have pursued unconventional paths and created distinctive professional, cultural, entrepreneurial or personal experiences.

The initiative aims to discover stories that do not always receive media attention — women who started again after immigration, changed career paths, entered unexpected fields, reimagined elements of their cultural heritage, served their communities, or transformed the challenges of migration into opportunities to build something new.

“Immigrant Women Outside the Box” is not limited to prominent figures or women with widely recognized achievements. Its central criterion is different: the value of the experience, what makes it distinctive and its potential to inspire others.

Through the initiative, Tawasul News will offer Arab immigrant women a space to tell their stories beyond conventional definitions of success based solely on professional titles, fame or financial achievement.

Success can also mean creating a project from nothing, making a courageous career change, introducing a cultural tradition to a new audience, serving a community in an innovative way, or discovering an entirely new path after immigration.

Stories from the initiative will be published every Monday as part of Tawasul News’ Women section, with each feature focusing on the human experience and the ideas behind the achievement rather than presenting a conventional biography.
